I'm having a problem with the avic telling me that I'm not using the appropriate disc. I have hit the reset button ten times and it just keeps saying the same thing. I thought that the reset would wipe out my saved destinations but it does not. What I'm I doing wrong here? Thanks in advance for your help.

Forget it. I downloaded east and west for euorpe. That's what happens sometimes when you want something for nothing. :) On that note: I've started downloading the torrents mentioned in this thread. If anyone can help in seeding this file, it would be much appreciated. If others are looking to get these files, jump on to your favorite torrent downloading program and let’s do this. Finally, screw those Hippocrates on EBay! I have never, nor will I ever, sell warez for a profit! That’s just where my conscious draws the line. :D

I have the original CNDV60. I tried to make a copy of it and I can't seems to get it to work.

I tried DVD+R DL, DVD-R DL, playing with the slowest possible speed and I can't seems to get it to work.

There are enough copies out there for me to say that it can be done. Try to follow the directions in this thread. I know that it pertains to adding custom backgrounds but just skip that part.

Thanks for helping out but I dont know why.. It just can't work. Copying of the DVD is 100% successful but when I tried putting into my AVIC-N3, it just can't work. I can't perform address search etc.

I found a copy, and downloaded it. The file was a nero file, but I am on a Mac. To my joy when I double clicked the file it launched in toast. I then mounted the image and burned to a dual layer DVD+R disk. Put it in my N2 and and everything worked great. The system rebooted, installed software, rebooted again, and everything was done.

All screens work... except... I can't do POI or other searches??? They are greyed out. My N2 has the parking brake wire grounded, and I have tried all combinations of being parked, flipping it on and off, stnading on my head, resetting the sytem, EVERYTHING I can thnk of. Nothing enables the functions - but all other functions / maps work fine. Boomarks work, but I have not tried to do anaddress search, not sure ig that is grey or not.

Can anyone help me here? Is there a MOD or something I need to do?
