ibanez940 Posted September 28, 2007 Report Share Posted September 28, 2007 got me a 2007 cobalt ss and i wana put in a d3 unit...can anyone tell me how i can get the unit mounted in with the chimes and steering wheel controlls...? and i see alot of bypasses which is best method and hows it done...? do i need some special harness....? all-black-itr Posted November 21, 2007 Report Share Posted November 21, 2007 got me a 2007 cobalt ss and i wana put in a d3 unit...can anyone tell me how i can get the unit mounted in with the chimes and steering wheel controlls...? and i see alot of bypasses which is best method and hows it done...? do i need some special harness....? your best bet is to go and get a list of things 95-3302 double din dash kit gmos-lan-04 wiring harness swi-ps for the steering wheel controls take and move your mute wire(yellow and black) to the pin right above it, ground that, and the ebrake wire and you are bypassed. if you didn't already do it.
