D1, Unit will not power on.

quick background.

 

Unit would power up, however no display and unable to Open.

 

Sent in for warranty, fixed etc. just got around to installing it.

 

Installing into an 04 GTO.

 

all the wires are still there, hook up the harness, test... works.

 

put in the dvd rom, reboots, comes up with map and location. works.

 

I push in lightly to get the faceplate to line up with the car, and it powers off. Nothing, nada, gone.

 

Any ideas? I reset the cables, unplugged it etc.

 

Currently its unplugged.
