I had the same problem, give this a try: 1 - turn the headlights off and adjust the brightness 2 - back out of the setup screen 3 - turn the headlights on and adjust the brightness again 4 - back out of the menu

Along with the standard already reported issues that all the units seem to have: Model: AVIC-F90BT Devices Connected (XM, iPod, etc) : iPod, iPhone, HD Radio tuner AV Source (if playing) during issue: HD Radio Action that caused the issue (pressed button, search, etc): when displaying the preset selection buttons, no text/numbers appear on the buttons. It does not display what station is stored on any of the preset buttons Was GPS routing? (yes/no) does not seem to matter Was BlueTooth active? If yes, what device? no Anything else you would like to add: I figured out by accident
