waited for the password today, finally the site is up running again, install was flawless until 98%, my heart sunk, thinking i had lost 30 minutes of my time and gas, thankfully the retry option brought me back up to 99% and it was smooth sailing all the way. watched the old files get deleted and new files copied... then reboot... and then it was hell... my unit most glitchy and unresponsive, touch screen will not work from time to time.... the only thing working was the freaking rotating illuminating colors... 2d/2d/N functions were jumbled up... did not see any text in 3d mode... cannot go

I heard that 5.5 gen works better than 5th gen for the F700BT, can anyone confirm, I'm looking to get one from craigslist... thanks

i am having similar problems just getting a mp4 to play full screen, it just turns out as a little box, my video was only 5 minutes at 720x480.

hi there, exported a video and it will only play really small on the screen, anybody knows why? i did a test with the yasa vob to mp4 converter, supposely it was 720x480, any thoughts? thanks

how did you get your old ipod to work? my gen 4 does not work when the usb is attached... And when the audio is coming out, no volume control is available...

I've installed mine right on top of the head unit, was a little worried about heat and magnetic issues, should i be concerned? I checked after driving for 30 minutes, not much heat from the unit... gps seems to be accurate... thanks

iceman, i read in the manual that you need it not just for the rear camera, but for the gps to know if you going in reverse. for 700bt, it says you don;t need to tap the speed sensor? doesn;t make sense to me...

thanks, I tried really hard to look on all the scion forums, nobody replied my post, and no info can be found for a 2005 xa... one last question, tapping in to the reverse light lead, how far back do I need to go? Closer to the reverse light assume after the junction box? thanks agian..

Great work here, got my unit today planning to install this weekend, I will be doing the mutewire bypass, thinking about the software bypass as well, does one work better than the other? Does any body have suggestions on where to locate my gps antenna? Wouldn't the best the reception be available on the roof? I;ve seen some installations behind glove boxes, does it matter? One more thing, do i need a dash kit for this? Any body with experience on a Scin XA? I scoured the web, can;t seem to find any... Thanks for all your help, will post images when completed.
