Seems like a stupid question but here goes: I use a MSFRD-1 to interface my z140bh with my ford sync in my 2011 f-150. I use my trucks bluetooth for phonecalls since it is much faster and better than the avic. To use my sync with bluetooth audio, I have to switch to my radio's aux port, but for the life of me I can't find this setting in my avic menu!! Anyone?

Have had zero issues, and didnt have to mess with mute wire...definitely recommended.

I dont take credit for this found it on youtube. The only thing to add is I could only fit about 3 strands of wire through the little hole in the harness but it worked great. This was awesome for me since I need the mute function for my ford sync.

Sorry bro just looks like you glued an ipad to your dash...if you werent talking so much trash it would be one thing. But you talked up this sick ipad install and its a jurry rigged piece of garbage.

If i am using and ms-frd1 harness ( to retain my ford sync) will that mean I cant use the jute wire since I need that for sync? Anyone try this?

You talk all this trash about pioneer and this is your setup?? Sorry to bust your bubble but that looks like jury rigged ass. From the crap case to the clipped on ghetto steering wheel controls...you are really going to compare this to a z140 install that looks stock? Ever had a girl in that car??

I know for a fact I used to scroll through the presets by pressing left/right on the knob...now I can't seem to find that setting anymore...

Anyone? I know people listen to their XM out there!

I swear I used to be able to do this...had XM cancelled for a few months and now that I have it turned back on I can't get it to swap through the presets using the left/right with the knob. Anyone know how to enable this?

Ok so now my XM is going one channel at a time! I can't remember how I ad it going through the presets instead, can anyone remember the setting?

Wow that stinks...getting sick of driving around in the FM screen just so I can skip around presets to avoid commercials...

XM has an option to let a left/right knob push change your presets instead of just moving one channel left or right. I can't find this setting in FM mode, and pushing the knob just moves the frequency .1 over...is there anyway to get the knob move the radio to the next preset?

Right that makes sense...ok so as soon as the files in that 3.0 update thread get updated I can do that I guess (links are dead...)

Why do I have to install the hacked 3.0 first? Can't I just install the free 3.01 firmware update from pioneer on my f-90bt? Or is that only for the new x-series models?
