Couple of questions. 1.) So I take it, out of the box, I can not really take control of my iPhone's music without that cable (The standard APPLE USB cable wont work right?) Thats why you guys are recommending that cable? 2.) Theres NO WAY to stream the audio using bluetooth because its missing a A2DP profile, correct? 3.) When you say buy an amplifier, is the amplifier that comes with the 6ave link posted here sufficient?

Hey, I'm looking at the F500BT myself, but my father ALSO wanted a GPS unit for his car to get around. We were looking at Garmins and Tomtoms, but they were around $200.00 For $200.00 I was thinking of also getting him a F500BT. That way he would have GPS PLUS additional features for the same price. But since he mainly wants it for GPS, is it worth it? Are garmins and Tomtoms better than the F500? Can anyone give their opinion/experience with this?

I'm guessing I posted in the wrong forum before since it was an 'iphone' related question. The kids want to know what I'ld like for fathers day. I was lookin around... I was going to tell them about the AVIC F500BT from 6ave for 200.00 but I read that it can't stream bluetooth. Is there any model that can play my iPhone's music? Especially since the iPhone 3.0 software can stream to bluetooth?

*bump* Anyone know? the kids are asking what I'ld like for fathers day, wanted to know a little more before I told them.

Hey, I'm about to purchase a F500BT from 6ave for 200.00 Is that a good deal? And can the F500BT stream my iPhones music to my car stereo? That and the ipod voice control is the main reason I wanted to purchase it. It'd be nice to just sit in my car and have it play my iPhone music without having to hook my iPhone up to anything.
