the harness i have was ordered for a pioneer 900bt so it is basicaly the same and seems to work but i dont have a green option for the parking brake wire..can someone please tell me which pin hole the parking wire is in so i can ground it to make the bypass work properly..at present it flashes on for awhile then the green screen pops up saying driving prohibited ect..im assuming its because the parking wire isnt hookeed up right..a pic would be great of where exactly the parking brake wire is..ty

title asks it all can i just get a burnt cheap copy from ebay that says newest updates and will i be all good or is more involved and do i need the originbal first or such ? ty

i bought a diffrent dd unit but was sent this one instead and have no clue about it..does it need a disk to use the navi system i just hookeded it up and it wont work..also thought i did the bypass but i did it with instructions for a diffrent unit duhhhh is there a link to it here couldnt find it ? also what l;se might i want to know about the unit to get it working right ? does it need filmware updates ect like other unit ? ty

was told it was a f900bt but i think its a x930 from the pics ive seen..how can i get info on it ? also says insert nav. disk i dont have one what to do ? ty

i got my stereo today f900bt and the wire harness is missing the 2 front white/white stripe wires for sure and maybe more im not sure..where would i get some to put in the harness as replacements ? radio shack or such ? also where can i find a diagram of the hrness to see if i am missing any other wires ? ty

im getting a old/new unit so it will be in stock filmware and original old maps .id like to update both so its user freindly and up-to-date using the mods/hack avalible via this board. also to make a copy of the original unit info

just thought id ask maybe someone is close by that could explain the ABC's of modding these decks so i could enjoy it more..could offer a few dollars for some guidence..have a AVIC-F900BT on route in the mail that is new so it will need updates ect to get it running smooth from what i have been reading via this awesome forum..dodge county area about hour to madison or milwauke if anyone is close by..thanx

i just got a AVIC-F900BT that was in a truck for 1 day for $350 so i couldnt refuse even though it is missing all the extras . so it has had no filmware updates or anything done to it yet..i know it also comes with-out anything so i ordered the wire harness/install kit for my 2008 ford f-150. i also need a gps antenea and microphone and was wondering where is best to get one . i also wanted to do the by-pass thing so kids can watch movies while i drive and would also like to get the steering wheel control.this is where i am confused as the bypass i see for sale via ebay work for filmware 2.0
