Hey there everyone! I just had my D3 installed yesterday. I had the default black background set and after a few hours it changed on its own. The color is now black with white horizontal lines going across. This shows up behind the other colors on the other screens. Other backgrounds that come with the disc appear normal. But I really just wanted the plain black.

It looks like its broken but everything else seems to look just fine. I tried resetting and no change. Ive even downloaded images from here which work fine and the "original" still goes back to the funny hohrizonal lines.

Any clues?

Did you change ALL 3 of the backgrounds? When you go to the import background setting there are 3 different screens/situations you can set backgrounds for. Maybe one of them is still set to the default (lines) one. Or maybe your D3 is losing memory.

Nope. In fact I didnt change anything (I swear!). The stock black background now has lines all over like the screen was faulty. Every other background, both from the install CD and downloads from this site (thank you all) work great.

The ironic part is I cant seem to find a basic black background to download! lol

The stock background IS the one with the white lines.

W O W... I would have sworn that it was pure black. I think I just expected it to be all black and didnt notice the stipes at first. I cant believe I didnt notice something like that.

Now if I could just get the EQ back to where it was set before I hit the reset button. Who made it so you cant change each frequency on its own?
