CRMXR we should make some money on these what do you think?

Posted May 20, 2008 · 05:27 UTC#27

if anyone is in the Sanfernando valley, Ventura county area I'd be happy to offer them a good price while still making a little to support my account. But I'm going to wait until I get mine first, they are supposed to be getting over 300 units this month.

Well, that's a good question. Once you pay tax your cost will be $849.25 Then if you want to make something, say $50 that put's it at $899.25 and then you have to add shipping, for about another $25 or so. A question I have is if someone buy's from you, what do they do about warranty?

Might as well get one from the guy I bought mine from.

Good luck.

I'm not shipping anything to anyone, if they want it they can come get it. I'll hand them the reciept so the warranty is completly valid and I dont think I need to make that much on the unit, I'm all for helping out my fellow man, it's just up to you if you want to make the treck out here, no sweat off my back I'm getting one either way.

If you are willing to do that for just a few bucks, that sounds like a deal. I am supprised you don't have people lined up :D

I'm a nice guy, I would hope somebody would do the same for me.

^^Probably not a authorized dealer. I would rather pay a little more and get the factory warranty.

I can find out about being an authorized dealer. They are 10 minutes from my office. I will probably shoot over there tomorrow or Thursday.

And tell them to run spell check on their website LOL!

No Kidding! I emailed them and they do not have a storefront location for me to check out. They ship only.

Here's the kicker. I am 10 minutes from their address, and the shipping charge for ground shipping is $42.00! I think I'll pass and find someone else.

CRMXER,

I live in the Valley, how much would you charge me for the F90BT?

I hate that companies over charge shipment cost just so they can advertise a lower price product.

As of right now I can't get the 90BT just the 700 and the 900. I can sell the 900BT for About $880 that includes tax and everything, the only drawback is that you need to come get it and I need cash.

Posted May 22, 2008 · 23:42 UTC#39

How much can you get the 700 for?

Posted May 23, 2008 · 00:22 UTC#40

let me know, thanks

Posted May 23, 2008 · 00:47 UTC#41

hey crmxer, i'll pick up a 900 off you, i'm in the valley as well... if you can get the f90bt come game time i'll take that instead, if not i'll take an f900bt w/ an ipod cable if you can get those too, sure thing :)

Posted May 23, 2008 · 00:47 UTC#42

What is the lowest price I can get the AVIC-F90BT for? It can be shipped or pick up in the Bay Area CA.

Posted May 23, 2008 · 03:01 UTC#43

So far I know a place sell F90BT for 999.99 + shipping. The guy said it will be in stock next week. But not in Bay Area though. It actually around LA area.

Posted May 23, 2008 · 03:09 UTC#44

Where in LA, is it from a pioneer distributor? I want to make sure that I still have the warranty....I am looking for the F90bt

Posted May 23, 2008 · 03:52 UTC#45

I can do the 700bt for about $780

Posted May 23, 2008 · 04:08 UTC#46

Sonix seems to have some great prices all around.

$699 for the 700BT.

http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_13356_Pioneer+AVIC-F700BT.html

$930 for 900BT, and $999 for the 90BT.

Also, free install gear. I got my D3 from them a while back and they happened to have the best dash kit out for my car as well. Been very happy with their service too. Highly recommended.

Posted May 23, 2008 · 05:56 UTC#47

What should I get a D3 for $550-$600 or 90BT for $1100?

Posted May 23, 2008 · 15:16 UTC#48

Its in Vallencia near Magic Mountain. They're indeed Sonicelectronic and they do in store pick up so save you some $$$ on shipping. Call them up and make sure it's in stock before heading to their store. I'm not 100% they are Pioneer dealer but reading the description of product, it does include the 2 years warranty from Pioneer.

Posted May 23, 2008 · 15:40 UTC#49

Will they install it for you as well?

Posted May 24, 2008 · 00:20 UTC#50

I'm getting my 700BT from tundraelectronics.com for 49.99 down and 600 + shipping which will be 45 dollars extra or something like that. They say they expect them to arrive to their warehouse on June 12th 2008. Considering that retail supposed to be about 850 dollars for this model, I think 700 dollars is a killer deal.

I don't know what is so great about the 900BT...Just because the 700BT doesn't do DVD's and MSN direct tuner, the Ipod interface will be able to make up for the no DVD part since the 700BT will, indeed, be able to playback video from the Ipod. Unless the MSN direct tuner is a must-have, I would stick to the 700BT and save a few extra bucks.

Now....I just need to get my hands on the data cable for the ipod and wait till mid June for my product to arrive to my door...
