I've looked on the various forums and seem to find various versions of how to bypass the parking brake on an Avic D2. I'm a bit confused as to which is the easiet and not requiring alot of technical knowledge. Can someone please direct me to a clear step by step solution? Thanks
Look at the back of your wiring harness connector and you will see only 1 position with no wire . You need to add a wire to that terminal and take that wire and the wire from your unit that is supposed to hook up to the parking brake and ground both of them . You are probably not using your mute wire so you could remove and move it to the empty terminal . There is a small pin that holds the wire in place . Pull it out to remove the spare (mute) wire then reuse in the new location.
