Ok,

Here I go; I just installed the F700bt today, updated it and went to town trying to use it. First thing I wanted to do was pair my phone, well when I went to; Top menu; phone. All the settings are grayed out. So I am pissed, and then I go to Top Menu; Settings, and try to access system settings and its grayed out. So I say to myself; self, what did you screw up on during the installation. So I went searching on the internet looking for answers and now I would have to say I am very, very frightened of all that I have seen on this forum.

Well, in my car those settings can not be changed unless the Emergency Brake is ON.

opps forgot to hook that wire up. Newb mistake my bust. Does the parking brake put that wire to ground or something?
