I currently have the avic d3 and want to upgrade to the f series. Are the wire harness's and gps antenna the same? In other words can i resuse all the same wires i have now or do i have to pull them out and put the new ones in

Basically, you can re-use everything. You just have to move the mute wire because the bypass for each unit uses a different pin location, and you need to switch the little plastic connector on the end of the D3's antenna with the one that cones with the new unit because the cable and antenna is the same, the only difference is the shape of the plastic connector.

I am changing from a Z1 to a F700. Any chance my swap be as easy?? Thanks

No, but its not hard. You will have a different harness and RCA plug to use on the F-series. Easy swap though once the radio is out
