Pioneer shoudl of thought about all these kinds of things before they launched the product.

To be honest, for the $ I think the unit and its features are great!
But, its been a real hassle from a consumer point of view... and Pioneer has promised through thier marketing that this product and all its features are seamless...however they are not! AND the friggin software for customization is missing! thats one of the main selling points for some ppl.

Pioneer marketing seems like the portuguese politicians and governments, only promises nothing more then promises.
I agree with you, first they had to put the software operational, and only after that began selling the unit.

That's a Europe spec application. I don't think that works with US/CA models.
As the Firmware updates are also different, I would assume these would be too, looks like its not out yet for north america.
I'm still downloading it just to see it.
true... but since they released it in europe, it might be out very shortly here. It was the same way with the first firmware update. It came out in Europe, them a week or week and a half later it came out here.
finally pioneer released the 2 updates, version 1600 to 1900 and poi software, the first I just installed today, the second, tomorrow I`m gonna see how it works...... sorry about that guys, but for this time we were the first to get the software, at least something diferent for change. lol

Yesterday the download of "Navgate Feeds" was available when using this link.
Today its just the update to the lastest firmware that's available when you click this link. Anyone who has downloaded it yesterday?

Im sure its just a matter of time, but the European version worked just fine on my F90BT. I work for a company called Meijer in the midwest, and wanted to show all of the locations on my F90...
After searching a few POI sites, I found a listing and now all 180 stores show up! Unfortunately they have to stay on the SD card, and there is no way I can figure to import them so they are there permanantly..

interesting i notice when u go to the european site there's a bluetooth compatibility chart....and my phone is there (blackberry 8310), but no list is available here in the US, anyone know what the pros n cons about installing the european version versus american? also should the euro patch solve my bluetooth issue?

Not bashing, just trying to help. Most people don't like pictures that take up twice the width of their monitor. It kinda sucks.
