Whats the band at the top of my radio? There is a box and a bar at the top, is there something I am missing?

Thanks I'll look around more next time. I had no idea that those were the blue boxes everyone was talking about. Also sorry about the size of the pic and the quality, it was taken on the fly with a camera phone...

Wow... that's pretty friggin' huge for a camera phone!

Not for an iphone.

Well you'd think that instead of making it take huge pics with poor quality, they'd make it take smaller pics with good quality.

wel that's one thing apple and pioneer have in common...bad design choices.

Looks like it's a 1.3 Mb pic. and somehow it blew up and resulted in a lower resolution.

FWIW I think the problem is the manufacturers push for more megapixels because that's what the public think they want... but without a quality lens, all you're doing is taking a poor photo and making a high-resolution version of it. My Sony Ericsson has a 2MP camera and takes poorer pictures than a 1.3MP camera I had several years ago. The difference is, the camera had a quality lens, the phone has junk. On the other hand, the camera couldn't make phone calls... so it's a tradeoff.

well is there any phone out there that takes camera quality pictures? every one ive had always have a somewhat blurry shot

Posted Aug 15, 2008 · 14:10 UTC#11

Not really... my motorolla/nextel i880 takes kinda good pictures. It's 2 megapixels, and comes out pretty clear at times.

Well... I guess those are pretty big too. I never actually looked at my phone's pics full sized on a computer before lol.

Sony and Nokia both have some phones that take high quality 5MP images. They're just not mainstream in America because they're GSM only, and haven't been picked up by any carriers here.

i hear ya. this is about as good as my env gets

its a clear shot but its still a bit blurry. if i go any bigger the resolution diminishes

My Motorola Razr takes a decent pic. if I don't breathe while pressing the button. :)

Posted Aug 15, 2008 · 17:10 UTC#15

i had the razr, i thought the quality was horrible on it. is it the original or the new version?

Posted Aug 15, 2008 · 21:36 UTC#16

Nokia N82 = best imaging phone I have seen yet... 5MP with Xenon flash and AF assist light.

I lost my 1st Razr 6 mos ago. and my insurance bought me another one the V3r.So I think this is a 2nd generation one because there were a few minor differences in the phone but even with my 1st phone if I'm very still I can get a decent pic.I'll send a pic. as soon as my phone connects, having problems.

The razr I had before my iphone took HORRID pics. The iphone actually was the first phone I had that actually took full res pics. There are better ones now though.

Here's 1 pic. I 'm still having problems staying connected. I wish I could hook up using usb.

I'm intrigued... but at the same time I'm not sure if i wanna know what the hell is going on in that picture... Looks like there are makeshift toilets made out of trash cans?
