Hello guys,

Installed my new AVIC-F90BT and I'm having an weird issue with the navigation screen.

Theres 2 transparent green boxes (One Square and one Retangluar) on the top left corner when I'm in "Map" Mode. Does anyone know how to get rid of it or do I have a defective unit?

here are some pics of the issue.

When you will choose a destination to go, the big square will show an arrow for the direction you have to go and the long one displays the name of the street you are in...

This is not a bug !

Please, use your gps before crying for help ;-)

haha thanks!

So it's still there even when you're not routing to anything? because the pictures I took is when I'm just viewing the map without telling it to navigate anywhere

Yes, it always stays on screen.

Maybe not if in demo mode...

You know if you hit the search button on this site or just look through the F series threads you might see a solution to this.

Yes, go to the f series hacks/mods board. Pretty big topic about it.
