Hello Everyone,

I seem to be having a problem with my CD-IB100II Ipod adapter and so I am curious if anyone could help. I hooked the adapter up recently to my AVIC-Z3 but I can't seem to get it to produce sound when its reading music from my Iphone or old Ipod. I can select the song I want and the Tag info will appear on screen along with the counting-down sequence of song time remaining. So it looks like the song is being processed yet its like the sound is being muted or something. Sound works for everything else though. I don't know if this is related but the phone call notification (ring) on the AVIC-Z is also gone when someone calls my phone. The Phone Ring stopped working about a week or two after I installed the bluetooth phone adapter. Its possible I messed up a setting somewhere but I am not sure. Does anyone have any ideas? Any help would be much appreciated.

Heh, I did some reading and found the solution to my problem. It turns out that I had "plugged the P-bus cable into the wrong hole on the hideaway box on the ipod adaptor." Now I'm getting sound like I should.

Thanks to whtcrxghst for knowing what the issue was:
