Hi everyone,

I just got a f90bt today and can not find anywhere how to change in the 2-d display from true north in the compass (when it points to north all the time) to where the map rotates around your position and shows your direction/orientation always going forward. In my old avic I remember I would just touch the compass icon on the screen and it would change, this one won't let me. Any thoughts?

Thoughts? Read the manual. Or search the forum...

I looked at both, but thanks for your help

lmao, dude you can't do it. it's a very well documented complaint in this forum. A simple, 2d north search will show this very quickly.

Maybe they will fix this at some point, maybe not but it is a problem with the software that is being used, not a setting or user error.

3d nav mode though allows you to switch it back and forth.

Great example: http://avic411.com/forum/viewtopic.php? ... hlight=map

2d map is what yielded the search result.
