Got my Paypal sent, can't wait to get my smooth Black!

Hey Sandpro,

When did you send payment? I thought I saw your payment a day or 2 ago. Is that right? Paypal tells me who you are based on your name. Just making sure I'm not missing something.

Nice CRF! I have a 450x also.

Thanks. A few people have said they didn't get their knobs. Appearantly the freekin post office looses shit. I have had about 5 people say they still haven't got their knob from Jan 21st. I don't know all I can say is USPS sucks out loud.

Just let me know if you don't get it. I'll make it right.

Perfect timing...

My F90bt should be here wednesday...

I probably won't be able to install it til next weekend...

Maybe, just maybe I'll have my "Thommy Knob" by then too!

It's on it's way Beef! Thanks

SWEET!

I got the unit on Thursday, I received my kit, harness, and onstar module and the SWI PS1 before the radio ever arrived..

I'll be doing the install this week, so I'll probably have the knob before I ever install the radio!! Right on.

After seeing this Unit in person, I am VERY excited to get this ThommyKnob, because I have huge hands and the factory knob feels, well, WUSSY to me... I'm loving the idea of a Chunk O Billet in my paws when I'm fiddling with the radio...

I almost thought my Denali was perfect before... but I have a feeling I'm in for a real treat when I install this bad boy... I can hardly wait.

But alas, it's still snowy outside and the Denali doesn't fit in the Garage with all the motorcycle junk and the hot rod right now..

Thanks again THom... I'll let you know when I get it.

Beef.

Oh yeah, you'll find out fast that USPS is the WORST INVENTION SINCE STINKY CHEESE!

That's why most "real" businesses (which I know, you're not... yet anyway) DO NOT use those losers.... I ONLY ship with FEDEX and believe it or not, they're NEVER much more and often times LESS (if you use ground and ship alot) than USPS and they are accountable for their shiznit!

Hope mine doesn't get lost by those jack legs... I want my Thommyknob!!!!

Posted Feb 02, 2009 · 01:42 UTC#286

You know what... I hadn't really even thought about Fed-Ex ground. I have an account there too. We use them all the time. I think I'll check into that one.

Most people don't even realize but I have a legit business that I have had for 30 years. www.deltamillwork.com My pic is even on there.

I have really about had it with the USPS.

LOL, I didn't mean that you didn't have a "legit" business or anything like that... I just meant that alot of guys who don't ship alot don't even think about the Fedex option because they just assume that it's too expensive..

You're obviously a pro at what you do, so I had a pretty good idea that you were a "professional" machinist from looking at your work. I kind of assumed it was a side gig though...and that you did it for someone else as your day job.

Try fedex... you'll be glad you did.

OH, and get you an American Express card and set it up as your payment method for fedex and save an additional 10% right of the top! That's what I do!

Peace,

Beef.

Oh nice, I didn't realize you're in Houston (guess I could've looked at the shipping label...) I'm getting a house built right now... I might have to hit you up for some upgrades sometime!

LOL Thanks guys.

Thomas,

I paid for 2 knobs but only got one in the package (the address label even had "BK(2)" on it. Can you send out another before they are all gone!

Thanks.

Just installed my black knurled. Perfect fit, Perfect usability. Don't hesitate to buy one. I cant believe that POS that pioneer had on there.

Posted Feb 03, 2009 · 16:59 UTC#292

I ordered my Black Knurled sometime last week and was in no rush to get mine, figuring Thomas was pretty busy and what not. This strategy only made the excitement double when I got home yesterday and saw that it had arrived. I opened it up and marveled at its beauty. I then promptly ran back out to my car to install it. It went on like cutting hot butter, just perfect, absolutely perfect fit. I love the Knob now.

As a side note, those are great instructions Thomas, thanks for including them (Although it was wicked easy to install, but its a nice peace of mind making sure I am doing it right).

I highly recommend one.

you send to Canada? the Montreal area to be exact???

Posted Feb 08, 2009 · 20:26 UTC#294

Thomas,

I thought I had posted this last week but I can't seem to find my post.

I wanted to thank you for your work on these knobs. I installed mine and then forgot about it until a couple of days later. I was driving to work and reached over to turn up the volume and was amazed at the difference. I am completely satisfied and think that frankly Pioneer should have made the knob like this to begin with.

Thank you once again,

Jody

No problem. Shipping is an extra $10.00 because I have to physically take it to the Post Office.

Thanks
