I didn't think it was going to actually work either, especially after my shaky arse hands.... But once I got a process going, it got easier and easier...

I had full intentions of doing a write up on it, but I got too involved and stopped taking pics... But being that I'm still waiting on a couple more components for my install, and I haven't installed the HU yet, I may try to walk through it and post up some key parts to the process...

I'm not trying to encourage anyone in doing it, nor saying that it's the easiest thing in the world... But really, as far as the soldering goes, there's really not much to mess up... And if by some weird way you did, all you would need to replace is the plastic "PCB" with the buttons... which probably isn't more than $20...
