Amazon had the F90BT for $625, now it is up to about $690 since I put it in my cart

Is this normal for the price to go up in a short period of time? Will it go back down?

Thanks..

Have you tried bargaining with 6th ave? They had it for under $600

Hmmm....I had not thought about that - good idea. I would assume that I would need to do this in the retail store not online or over the phone?

Wrong. I called a local 6th Ave for the 90 and they told be $748, there are members getting it for less than $600 via th online store. Find the coupon code and hurry, I think it expires the 10th IIRC

Any idea where I would find this coupon code?

Well I called them up and they were able to do it for the $625 price. Unfortunately since I live in NY they had to charge me sales tax so that jacked up the price to $680. I was planning on ordering it from them on Amazon so I would have had to pay the tax anyway - just wasn't expecting it

The representative was extremely professional so I feel I should be happy with this purchase.

Only problem there is ebay = no warranty

Yeah exactly. You get what you pay for.

I just ordered mine on Thursday night from 6ave.com with the coupon and it was $598 +tax (I'm in NY) . The coupon worked great.

There is a 3 year warranty through Pioneer.

No there isn't. Ebay purchases have zero warranty

Technically it is not eBay that has no warranty, it is anyone you buy it from who is not an authorized dealer. That said, I wonder if 6 Ave is an authorized dealer?

Wanna share the coupon code for everyone else? On 6Ave.com they have it listed for $1199.99! You got the F90BT not the F700BT?

Interesting the way the price is shooting up - I guess it is based on supply and demand. When it was cheap everyone started buying it which drove up the demand and therefore the price. Go Capitalism!

Thanks again - just saw this in the other thread and saved $30

Still have to pay tax though

laws of supply & demand. If the demand is high the price goes up

Awesome price, I just finally ordered mine!

When does this coupon expire?

Just wanted to say thank you also! This just saved me $42. I emailed 6ave.com and they said the credit will be posted within 3-5 business days. This is how company's should be ran.

When does this coupon expire?

I think today.

I recently picked up mine from ebay for $575 delivered to my door. Then for $55 through SquareTrade I purchased their 3 year warranty. They don't care about grey market or anything. And should the unit ever fail they cut you a check for the original purchase price. Beats the Pioneer warranty if you ask me.
