I love how you put the USB tip out the empty socket cover for the rocker switch. what did you do just cut a rectangle to the size of the USB port and glue it in there?

Have you be careful there though. Super glue does wonders but is sort of shiny in the sun.

But then again im a NOOB at this.

thanks for the tip, ill probably just do some gorilla glue on the back side and see how that works out.

That may be the best idea. It was an experiment over all for me..

But i like the the way it turned out.. plus you can buy new switch covers for like... 2 bucks!

I would suggest using clear silicone. It will take longer to setup, but is removable if you want to take it out. I used silicone to mount a wood amp rack to my trunk floor and it is holding up great after years.

If I want to take it out for good I just have to yank real hard :)

true, my only question or concern i have is how did you make yours so Flush?? its perfect. did you just cut it a little small and force it in there?

I cut a hole EXACTLY the same size as the USB ..

then glued pieces of plastic UNDER the usb cable mouth so it would stay in place under the switch and that was glued under the switch cover..
