The work perfect in my F700BT EW so it should work in the F900BT too.

You have to rename the file with only the name of the country and put in the APL2\IGO\CONTENT\MAP folder.

iGO does not actually care about the file name. As long as it is .FBL and in a correct folder, it should be fine...

I've downloaded the Italyxxxx map and renamed as Italy.fbl, then I've overwritten the original one with the new one.

Nothing more.

Restart system, but now no Italy map?

I've to rewritten the original one (come with the unit) to the new one and now Italy map is back.

I've no idea why your maps don't show. I've installed all of them and they all come up. And as Boris says, there's no need to rename them.

Have You copyed all maps OTA and OTM too, or only OTA maps?

I've ssen that my original map folder has a file called WestEUMAJOR.FBL that isn't present in the new uploaded maps. Is it important?

Only used the OTA (TeleAtlas) maps, I'm not sure if the OTM (TopMap) maps will work on the Avic. Besides, with two differing maps installed for the same country it would probably throw an error.

I have EastEUMAJOR and WestEUMAJOR, these are maps for Major roads.

ok. I've got too, in my original map folder, but in filefactory sahring folder there is only the EastEUMAJOR but not the WestEUMAJOR.

Anyway i Will try do use all the OTA maps, when I finish to download them.
