Yep, just plug it in the back and that's it. You have to pair your phone to it too. You might want to read about the volume settings before you pair it just incase.

Today I just got done installing the Bluetooth deal and it seem's to work just fine No Background Noise but this install seemed to get raid of the Error message about the parking brake Lead wire which I didn't expect but Oh well I Hated that Icon anyways and havent had a chance to head back to my installer and have him look at that. I have also noted that the bluetooth at times doesnt want to stay connected during a reboot (such as exiting the truck and coming back ) I have to go into my cell phone setting click bluetooth on my motorola v511 and the Pioneer navi finds it again is this set up the correct way I tryed to call Pioneer But they closed Up so I'll give tech surport a ring tommorrow...

That you can get rid of (or could have gotten rid of) if you reset your unit with the recessed button to the right of the eject button. If it comes back make sure the parking brake isn't being reported as ON all the time (that wire is grounded). Go to

MENU - SETTINGS - HARDWARE - CONNECTION STATUS

And look at the parking brake line. If it's off, then you are ok. If it's on and the parking brake is not on, then parking brake is permanently grounded and it shouldn't be. That message will come back again.

Some installers who don't know how the Z1 functions will sometimes ground the parking brake thinking it will trick the Z1 into thinking the parking brake is on all the time and bypass the lockouts, but that doesn't happen.
