What are your sound settings at? If you have master volume low, you wont be able to hear the noise notification. Also you need to be speeding past it to hear it. Another thing to look at is under GPS settings/Warnings do you have all those saved as ON? All things to look at.

Try setting a camera near your house and then speed passed it. Thats what I did to test out sound ect.

Is there a way to set the played alarm/siren volume as higher? I like to leave my button touch settings super low so they dont play, so do to that I cant hear the alarm play at all. Is there away to go into the file and raise the volume for it when it plays? Also have found other speed traps and am wondering how do I go about adding them in? Do I import them via an SD card or do I need to add them into a file then import it in via test mode?

p.s. I have successfully combined this speedcam mod with Keepers map skin mod and software by-pass (I had a D3 and just changed out the unit didnt move the pin placement from where I had the D3 bypassed so needed the software so didnt have to cram my fingers in there to move the pin.). So to those out there it is possible to do.

anyone have a link to a good US speedcam file? not really wanting to pay for them from gps-data-team... i live in NC so extensive NC coverage would be great!

I am going to try and use the SPUD file from CMHs mod where we did have a ton of speedcam/traps especially in my area.

i have found a garmin speedcam file that has all the cams from my area in them... is there any easy way to convert it to a txt file or a spud that igo understands?

where can i find cmh's mod? cant seem to find it since he packed up and said peace out.. would like to look through it at some things...

So I have successfully gained the SPEEDCAMS/TRAPS from CMHs mod... download this file and make sure you removed the part that says .txt . The file should read just SpeedcamUpdates.spud (forum will not allow me to upload just a .spud file so I added the .txt to it you have to remove that).

Once downloaded place with test mode in avic. Go to APL2 > iGo> Content> SPEEDCAM and paste in this .SPUD file. Make sure though that you back up the present files in there just incase this SPUD doesnt work for your avic.

This added all the old speed cams that I had in CMHs mod. Hope it works for you too.

worked like a champ.. i put it in with the .txts from gps-data-team and as far as i can tell it has all the cams in my town

What exactly is in the data.zip that needs to be there for the speedcam to work? I'm trying to merge some mods here, and 3 I'm messing with have data.zip's...

Whats different in the data.zip that I could manually edit my other one for?

Lower the speed limit to 30, just about everyone drives over 30 and no cop is really gonna bust you for going 5 over the speed limit. Also make sure that your master volume is turned up so that you can hear the sound. Also if you are on the map screen it pops up and shows you a big box .3 miles out.

I have noticed that a lot of the preset ones from the spud file I uploaded didn't have the correct or any speed attached to it.

my speed files are .txt not .spud, whats bettter and difference?

can i use this one on my EU f900bt V3.1 ?.

when i put the navigation voic off the biep of speedcam is olso off can i do somthing about it?. the speedcam biep must by always on! en the navigation voic off! is that posible?.

and can i turn the speedcam biep harder?. or a other sound?.
