Would you all trust this company or have you ever heard of it? Seems like a good price.

I haven't been around for awhile since my Z1 and Z2 were stolen. State Farm talked me into a KW 8109 with the Garmin. I hated it and can't wait to get back into a Pioneer.

Thanks in advance.

I just called this jack ass to inquire about price and availability. When I asked about the price he seemed to get pissed that I asked and stated that it said on the web site it was preorder only and that no one had them in stock. Right off the bat, with this attitude. It doesn't say squat on the site about pre order. I actually called to verify if he was an authorized dealer and was going to put my order in regardless of current availability but this guy spoke to me in a very unfriendly manner. I wont be ordering from this guy for any price. Be aware ordering from someone like this.

This guy just sent me an email threatening to sue me because of this post.

Lol, that's just classic. Some fraudulent company that's taking online orders and charging people's credit cards for a product they don't even have in stock is threatening to sue YOU!?!? Their website says absolutely nothing at all about it being pre-order. I absolutely LOVE how he lies through his teeth with all of that "nobody has them yet" bs. Just browse the hacks/mods section....PEOPLE HAVE THEM AND HAVE ALREADY BYPASSED THEM, ON YOUTUBE EVEN!! What an ass clown.

i agree.

To Mr Rvfunproducts guy...

Although the poster has made a comment you consider slanderous, you must realize that customer service goes a long way. I see what it says on your website now, but I had seen your page before and it did not say this. I am not familiar with exactly how many units Pioneer is shipping, but to say that no one has them in stock is just plain not true. For these two fallacies, the previous post is not slanderous, but rather fact-stating.

To other posters here, if you want to pre order like this guy, get it cheaper at http://tundraelectronics.com/cart/pione ... -1073.html only $1200 after pre order.

good luck to all.

Yea although this person has updated his web site to reflect it is not in stock and that he is an authorized dealer, a call to Pioneer does not indicate that he is a dealer. If you would like to see for yourself, call 800-421-1404, select option 1, input zip code 98082, select option 1, select option 1, select options for both navi and indash video. This company is not stated in the recording as an authorized dealer. It is also not listed on Pio's site as an authorized dealer. I will contacting Pio on Monday to verify with them officially and will report back to this thread.

well, not so fast. he said he is an authorized re-seller. Not authorized dealer or retailer. What that means is that he is authorized to sell new pioneer stock. Must liek just about all internet dealers and ebay dealers. Warranties are supposed to be valid for 1 year thru these sellers, but its not as black and white as buying from Best Buy. Because of this, he is allowed to sell them so cheap. Authorized retailers are not allowed to sell at such cheap prices. They must sell at or close to SRP.

Posted Aug 01, 2009 · 01:23 UTC#9

Maybe so, I would still caution this company. Pioneer should be able to clear up the confusion on Monday.

Posted Aug 01, 2009 · 01:50 UTC#10

I really want to order one from someone who has had a great experience where the seller has been up front, honest and with great service. One person out of the blue calling this guy and having a bad experience is enough for me to go elsewhere.

I really want this pioneer, but a guy I know is trying to sell me on the KW unit for a few reasons. 1.2 million pixels on the KW vs under 400,000 on the pioneer. 2 year factory warranty on the kw vs 1year on the pioneer.

I like the nav on the pioneer better then the garmin on the kw. Are these valid claims?

This guy just sent me an email threatening to sue me because of this post.

 Wow, you so should post the email.

Posted Aug 01, 2009 · 07:24 UTC#12
Humm..

Interesting. Slander. Hummm.

Let's see what our attorney says about that post. They have, for us, successfully won a lawsuit for this type of similar action in the past.

You should consult a lawyer before you post such things. I can ensure you did not.

Now it is my turn.

Posted Aug 01, 2009 · 07:36 UTC#13

Wow what a professional looking email. That must be how they sell them so cheap. They sue there unhappy customers and then pass the savings on to you. Oh and shouldn't it be libel seeing how you wrote that. Also I do believe they need to send you cease and desist notification before a judge would consider the case.

For what it's worth, here's my input:

I bought my Z110BT off of Amazon on July 23rd from DiscountJungle for $1329, and S&H was $8.98 for a total of $1337.98. I have already received it, they shipped it fast and it was well-packaged. I believe it came from California, and I live in VA. The irony of this is one of our local car dealers told me they talked to Pioneer and it wouldn't be available for another 6-8 weeks! He was pushing a different unit (910BT).

Haven't installed it yet - that's next weekend. I have not yet received all of the peripheral parts needed for the install - HD tuner, XM receiver, PAC steering wheel controls, iPOD cable for my 3GS iPhone, etc. Some I bought new off of eBay, other parts are coming from Amazon.

I also just ordered a JL Audio HD600 amp to go with it ($511 with free S&H). I have a 2008 Chevy Avalanche with the Bose navigation system (no highs, no lows, must be B-O-S-E). I'd like to figure out what 6-1/2" speakers would work best to replace my factory speakers - anyone have any good recommendations?

Good luck!

you have the link from discount jungle?

Posted Aug 04, 2009 · 11:28 UTC#16

I bought from Discount Jungle through Amazon, and they dont' have another listed there, so they must be out of stock. However, their website is: http://www.discountjungle.net/

rvfunproducts.com website now states:

New Updated Info as of 07/31 - shipping until the third week in August. They are air freighting them in and the latest they will arrive by the 17th. There are only 1000 pieces coming for the entire U.S. if we see 10% percent of our order we will get 100 units. Sorry for the inconvenience, but it is a piece highly sought after. All pre-purchase orders will be filled timely. Mfg warranty is in place and we are an authorized re-seller.

Sorry, ONLY Pre-Purchase orders WILL BE FILLED so order and guarantee yours at this price now. Don't be tricked by other websites claiming to have this device. We can guarantee that through our largest west coast Pioneer distributor, there are ZERO available until they arrive in the US. Other websites are only trying to get your money.

Guaranteed to get yours FIRST HERE! The Last Word in Navigation

Crutchfield has them in stock if you want first class service (but are willing to pay a little extra for it).

Posted Aug 04, 2009 · 16:10 UTC#17

That guy CANNOT possibly be serious.

Look "douchebag" up in the dictionary and that guy's picture will probably be there.

Posted Aug 04, 2009 · 16:28 UTC#18

His comment of "ZERO" available is absolutely incorrect - I have one IN MY HANDS that I ordered from DiscountJungle through Amazon.

And, I know Crutchfield is a very reliable provider, and they are saying the have it in stock right now as well - I take their word for it given my wonderful dealings with them in the past.

Posted Aug 04, 2009 · 17:37 UTC#19

Crutchfield not only has them in stock, according to one of the reps I spoke too, they have over 200 available to ship right now. That pretty much means that by the time they are readily available everywhere else, Crutchfield will still have plenty available from there first stock. So the claim from this guy is becoming more laughable.

Posted Aug 04, 2009 · 20:59 UTC#20

It's taken my local guy a month to pick up 1! Granted he is not a Crutchfield or huge installer, but still. I had been getting ancy!

Posted Aug 04, 2009 · 21:10 UTC#21

The dude at rvfunproducts is an asshole. Ordered from website then called to see if they had it in stock a week ago and he told me they had none but he ran the credit card charge before he even had the units. So I canceled and went to crutchfield who had them in stock and it already arrived. I'm now waiting on "rv" to refund my credit card the amount that they charged to it.

Just pay the price if you want the unit now.

Posted Aug 04, 2009 · 21:58 UTC#22

I placed my order at RVfunproducts and had an email battle... sorta. I told him that I could find cheaper at tundraelectronics and i asked if he can give me some money back. The price difference after shipping is 116 bucks. He said he'll give me half that so $58. The guy kept saying that no one has them in stock blah blah blah and I have to wait till the 17th to get it. I can wait another 2 weeks for it to save 300 bucks. Dont need to get it now from crutchfield. The guy also said that his distributor is located in CA and fills all the orders there. Here is the email he sent me:

No even better. We buy from the largest West Coast Pioneer distributor period. The beauty is they are in CA. When they get them they will fill all my orders.

To be honest I am getting tons of calls about all this and what others are claiming. it is almost not worth my time dealing with it all.

Customers don't understand about new releases, and I should be use to it as I buy direct from Garmin and they are common with this stuff.

Consider yourself lucky to get one, lucky to deal with me, and lucky to be hooked in with the largest Pioneer distributor and they have your order qued!

http://www.ltmelectronics.com/

So all the other liars and losers can eat me, because they don't have a clue as to what is really going on.

In fact... I just got this email from my rep.

This was in reply to telling them that Cruthfields is telling people they have them. A complete lie.

I would say that they may be getting there shipment in the next few days, either way no one has them. But it is what it is, this piece is unavailable from anyone unless they have stock from the last shipment from the end of last month. They could just be saying that knowing they have stock coming, we have 1000 on order we may see a 100 by the 17th. No one is getting there full shipment.

No they did not arrive. We got notice yesterday that they wont be shipping until the third week in August. They are air freighting them in and the latest they will arrive by the 17th. There are only 1000 pieces coming for the entire U.S. if we see 10% percent of our order we will get 100 units. Sorry for the inconvenience but it is a piece highly sought after.

oh and he is a f**** asshole douchebag bit**.... but I put up with it just to see what he would say haha

Posted Aug 04, 2009 · 23:40 UTC#23

That dude and his "largest Pioneer distributor" are made for one another. One telling the other lies before spreading them on to consumers. It reminds me of the Iraq war when the Elite National Guard spokesman was reporting live from Baghdad claiming the reports of US troops being in the city were a complete fabrication and nothing but US propaganda.........as US tanks rolled by in the background. He’s got to be delusional or the dumbest guy in the world or both. Either way he needs help.

Posted Aug 05, 2009 · 01:02 UTC#24

lol, he claims to have a over a million dollars in inventory on order.

Good luck with that, escpecially since this is where new buyers are directed to when researching it.

This guy is loosing more and more credibility every time he opens his mouth.
