Anyone with any technical knowledge know if the Z110BT can be updated with a European Map??
Maybe the map from the new AVIC-F10BT (European Version of the Z110BT)
ANY help greatly appreciated..

I am wondering about the same thing. I am pretty sure it is possible - I have a friend who is going to put EU maps on his US F900BT unit. I am very close to buying a Z110BT and a F10BT and see if I can do it. I´ll post here when I can confirm he has done it. I think the DVD player will keep its region and I am not sure if the radio is going to be 100% functional.

Thank you for contacting Pioneer Electronics, Inc.
U.S. models will only provide map information for the U.S. and Canada.
They will not support the map structure for another country.

This is an official reply from the manufacturer. There is only one answer they can give when they have region specific products with different pricing.
Replies like this has not stopped the avic411 community from finding and developing work-arounds, I am not yet convinced that it cannot be done. I think this is a question of software not hardware.

I agree, there are many things done in this forum that Pioneer would never tell you is possible....
There is another thread discussing this as well, looks like someone is trying it out.
