There are new torrents that are 2.35BG in size. Please follow the old links and scroll to the bottom of the page to follow the link for the new torrents. Thanks!

What kinds of discs is everyone using for this?

+R or -R?

Looks like -R.

alright, i installed my N2 tonight and almost everything seems to be working allright. Only thing is i got the east disc and removed all the file that began with POI in the idx folder and then reburned. Now it seems like the disc doesn't have any adresses what-so-ever on it. Anyone know if deleting all the POI's is the reason i don't have any adresses or is there something else going on?
I might just have to end up buying some DL DVDs but i would like to know the unit is working properly first.

Thanks,

You'll need a dual layer, since theres too much data to fit on a single side. I had the same problem till I finally got around to getting a new computer.

i read in other post that i can erase some files i.e POI, so it will fit in a regular DVD-R. So is this possible, if so how can i do it and which files can i omit from burning?

thanks

If you delete the POI files, you will also be deleting some of the street names stored in them as well. Be careful with that. If you are still interested, I will try to find the thread that talks about this and post back.

That was meant to allow for changing of backgrounds on the d series. If you continue reading it says after loading your new image put your original nav dvd back in.

Hey guys,

I just upgraded my AVIC-900 to a touchscreen and am dying to try it out! So far I've managed to download 41% of the 50MT 1.2 East disc off BT... but that seems to have dried up.

Can someone please reseed the torrent for me?

Thanks everyone. 8)

Regards,

JJ

I have 50 v1.2 on disc. I originally posted the torrents and hosted them for some time. But once the 60 version came out, I stopped hosting and the torrent dried up... I have since deleted the ISO's from my PC. If there is a big need for them again, I can redo the ISO's and host them again if need be...

anyway of hosting the 60 version upgrade. Looking to burn a copy.
Posted Jan 04, 2007 · 14:52 UTC#21
Isn't it already hosted?

I am downloading the version 60 right now but how do I burn it to a disk when I get it done

um, try keeping your questions consolidated, when people look around and see you asking the same questions it gets a little frustrating that you probably wont even listen to the answer then.

And that's why you do what I do and just ignore them....
