How about buy a Z110 and get an X910 for free  . Let's just say somebody goofed big time. They said the X910 was backordered, eta at least a month so I canceled that order and the Z is on the way. The X showed up today left at my gate by UPS with signature release. What to do......

I would sit on it for 30 days to see if they ask for it back. If not, take advantage of the situation. This kind of stuff has happened to me several times. Once I got a 1700 dollar imac from Amazon for free. They never collected the money from my account. After I received My Xbox360 exchange do to failure I received a second one a week later. Sometimes these things happen in the consumers benefit.

Sounds like a plan. I have heard about things like this before happening to others. Can't believe UPS and the shipper had an $1100 item sitting out for anyone to walk away with (my side gate is just inside my driveway, and my driveway abuts to my neighbors driveway). To think I was a little PO'd when I thought it was just my Dynamat order sitting out in the open and had gotten a little rain on. Everything was dry inside. I guess I'll do the waiting game. Maybe this makes up for basically giving away my Z1 in my 05 Mustang GT convertible I sold earlier this year. The buyers didn't even know what it was, sold the car on ebay. That hurt a bit... :(

I'm seeing ebay as having the best price of 1150 shipped. Thinking of ordering this weekend. Any better deals out there?

Posted Oct 02, 2009 · 23:25 UTC#30

Always remember with ebay you get no warranty and there is no to be sure your not getting a refurb. Use caution.

I initially was going to get mine from 6ave (Brick and mortar store near me) but was told by the manager of the car audio department that if it is not professionally installed that there is no factory warranty on it. Their price in store was $1400+$95 tax. $1495 and no warranty. I went home and made an offer with an ebay store with good feedback. $1150 with a backup cam and 2GB flash drive. No tax, free shipping, will be here tomorrow. $350 of extra cash will more than pay for the MSN Tuner and subscription.

Sounds like a good deal!! Can you share the eBay seller info?

Posted Oct 04, 2009 · 23:31 UTC#33

If installing it yourself voided the warranty then Pioneer wouldn't include the install manual, you were lied to, but you got a better deal anyway. I like when that happens, the liar loses and the consumer gets the better deal anyway! :)

I got the unit in the other day from the ebay seller. It came very well packed and the unit was untouched and brand new. Definitely not a refurb or anything. No scratches or any signs near the screw holes that the thing was ever even opened or installed. Very happy to have the extra $350 in my pocket too. The unit is by far the best nav I have owned thus far.

Just purchased mine from ebay seller dis_sound for $1153 primarily due to their warranty. 1yr replacement. This is better than an authorized dealer since you're getting a direct swap for a new unit, instead of sending it out for repair.

I was just looking at them this morning... 100% feedback and the new "TOP-RATED SELLER" badge. Have you gotten it yet? Did it come with any additional goodies (flash drive, SD card, backup camera)? Let me know, I want to get one ordered this week.

Thanks, JR

Car Toys has the AVIC-z110bt on Amazon right now for $919.99 right now with free shipping. Now they are an internet authorized dealer, per Pioneer's website. So can you use the 200.00 rebate even though their website shows it for more? That would make it $719.99... That would be a great deal! :D

Posted Jan 09, 2010 · 14:51 UTC#40

I thought the rebate expired on 12/31?

Posted Jan 09, 2010 · 16:20 UTC#41

They continued it until March 31,2010....

Posted Jan 09, 2010 · 16:32 UTC#42

Car Toys already bumped it back up to $1399.00... Must have been a day sale! I have been seeing Amazon dealers doing this alot lately so keep your eyes open

Posted Jan 09, 2010 · 18:24 UTC#43

if someone finds it on amazon again PLEASE POST. thanks

Posted Jan 10, 2010 · 17:04 UTC#44

forget amazon.

Step 1:

http://www.cartoys.com/Default.cfm/p/Pi ... D_Player/#

Price match this site:

http://www.caraudioxperts.com/product_i ... ts_id=7677

when you get your email with the verification, pull up bing.com. click the shopping tab. search for avic z110bt. choose the cartoys site (this will get you 5% cash back from bing if you sign up).

and the purchase with your coupon code.

then submit your rebate with pioneer.

aprox: $600 + accessories.

can anyone find cheaper?

Posted Jan 10, 2010 · 18:46 UTC#45

have you gotten them to match it? I didnt submit, but i doubt they will. If you read Car Toys terms on the Price Match is considers authorized dealers and the dealer's reputation. CarAudioXperts is not an authorized dealer and has 0 reviews on google.

Now, I am new to this forum so i don't know what the expectations are, but I would not post something regarding a price such as this unless I had done it. keeping your assumptions to yourself helps negate the perpetual group think associated with all internet forums.

I have purchesed the unit, and all the install accessories for $908 shipped from cartoys.

-5% from bing = $45

-$200 rebate from pioneer

+$4 stereo removal keys on ebay

=$670 + whatever accesories (ipod, msn, ect.) you want.

stamps,

what site did you have cartoys price match?

Posted Jan 11, 2010 · 23:10 UTC#48

looks like caraudioxperts... they have raised the price now to 915. i had submitted a request to cartoys for that pricematch, still waiting for a response... the next lowest price i had been able to get was through 6thave electronics they matched 949.95... they are also a pioneer authorized dealer
