Hello!

I'm looking for Test Mode to the AVIC-F10BT EU ver.

I got my AVIC yesterday and test run it in my living room to test.

have not been able to get it to work with speed cameras.

then how do you get it to enter in test mode? is it possible?

is the WinCE or Windows Auto on the device?

I want to be able to modify and run the Swedish charts, and "Land Register"

have searched around a lot and did not find anything :-(

This should be an official AVIC-F10BT thread! :-)

This is of course a new device that has existed in Sweden since August 2009

and running v.1000 so it does not come out well so far hacks

and it is not too expensive right! 19.000SEK about: 1838 EUR: - /

so it's probably not many who dare to hack this?

Give it a try and let us know if it works.

I am in full swing and test but has so far prevented managed to get it into test mode once :-(

No one has succeeded with this yet?

sorry for my bad English

From what ive read it isnt possible to hack. so i understand that only the f series hu's where hackable due to an error with pioneer's firmware upgrade patch for the avic f sries only that error made it possible for users to enter winCE at least that was my understanding from reading previous post'si maybe wrong but thats what i read.

It is certainly not possible. The F10 is the same unit as the Z110BT and has nothing to do with the previous F series. It does not run Windows CE and will not run Testmode. Therefor there will be no hacks and mods of this unit.

crap:? can of course declare that it is so fast!

Waste of money :-( but it's a good unit anyway.

I think I can get the files to the device and then be able to change them.

then put them back in the device ...

Posted Nov 22, 2009 · 15:32 UTC#9

Not without the boot files that give you access to the system and those files are not available to us.

Posted Nov 23, 2009 · 16:39 UTC#10

I think I can get them.

I think I can get them.

You cannot alter them!! I tried and all the files are in a DOS language, not a windows environment. Lots of luck though!

Posted Nov 23, 2009 · 18:49 UTC#12

I have already figured out, DOS is not new to me ...

not be so angry, :-)

Posted Nov 24, 2009 · 02:04 UTC#13

Does this mean there is a posibility of accessing the operating system on this device??

Posted Nov 24, 2009 · 03:09 UTC#14

No, it wont happen unless the boot files that access the system get leaked.

Posted Nov 24, 2009 · 03:11 UTC#15
I think I can get them.

If you do find a way to access the file system that allows mods on this unit, you will be the hero of this forum. Please let us know if you do succeed. :D

.....and I will be first in line to purchase a Z110!

The unit is fairly new so it is not certain they can get hold of them now.

I have the org files to the AVIC-F910BT from Pioneer 3.xxx eu.

To remove lost passwords was just unfortunately too easy to delete :-(

I hope no thief learns how to delete these ...

if I succeed, I will tell you how to go!

When you own your own stuff you should change them as you want it, right? :P

Hello! :-D

I have found firmware files to the AVIC-F10BT when i open them it says

AVICZ110 but it's the same type machine as it is right, have tried to flach

my device and it finds files o overwrite existing files with the new one.

ver: 01.0000 the new will be 01.0004 but are the same files. (01.0000) even after flach...

so now let's see if it is possible to mod! :-P

Remember that I am not taking any responsibility was that can happen to your device!

or how it is used! you do everything at your own risk!

Anyone have any good programs for o open software data files. dll,. exe,. img?

has opened a part in notepad and Hex Workshop seen some funny stuff i don't understand,

and also that there is one IMG file but have not managed to open it yet! :-( (it includes the files for the map (arrows and pictures, etc.) )

if you succeed so you will know where to write ;-)

I would caution anyone using this file on a US unit as it may replace language files and other files that are exclusive to the US.

Thanks for link.

I exract WinCE files and registry from you archive.

F10BT - used also ARM and WinCE , but need other way for start explorer, not like F900 testmode.

i can't help more, my unit f90bt,

but if anybody need - it can looking WinCE files with IDA, and try found unlock way.

also, possible make new WinCE image, and add Explorer ant mortscript to autostart, i do it for f900bt all working.

so, files from \Windows folder of f10bt/z110 unit

The Z110BT/F10BT does not use Windows CE. It uses Windows Automotive 5.5

Isn't that still CE core?

Posted Dec 08, 2009 · 22:17 UTC#24

Yep, Windows CE 5.0. Uses Platform Builder 5.0 to make the system images and Visual Studio 2003 or eVC 4 for app development.
