Just put the Pandora app on your iphone and plug it in.

just using the aux port on the front?

You cant put Pandora on the unit but you can get it on your iPhone if you have one. There are a few other phones that support Pandora as well. If you have an iPhone, you can just plug it in to the Pioneer iPod cable and use it that way. You can also use the AV2 input on the front if you have the proper cable.

if i were to get an iphone and the pandora app...it would show all functions on the unit screen?

I guess i am a pc and you are a mac.. :?: lol

No, it will work but will play through the iPod source on the unit. You will need to control the app from the phone.

I tried today to get my BB Tour to play through the front AUX input with a headphone to headphone jack to play Pandora and It wouldn't recognize it. It doesn't even pull up AUX2, just AUX1 where my iPod is. I tried while the car was under power, and after starting it plugged it, and no results. I have used Pandora with my phone and other speakers (traveling outside) without issue, but for some reason it doesn't play. Pandora was playing once I unplugged the headphone jack.

I tried to activate the AUX input but it only gives me VID and off and nothing else.

Any theories to why this would happen? I have XM so it isn't that big of a deal, but just another expansion I can use in the car.

Thanks!

Switch AV2 to VIDEO plug it in and it should play unless Pandora for BB won't output to head phone output.

I solved this problem by setting Ant CTRL to 'power'

then you have made a mistake in your install,

you have connected the power antenna wire coming off of the AVIC hooked up to the amp turn on wire for the car.

hey VTEC just make sure that your av is turned on in the menu as VBLUE said and it should work fine, my storm plays pandora and slacker radio through the front input with no problems

would it work trough USB? if you hook the phone like an ipod?

Posted Feb 19, 2010 · 00:46 UTC#15

Yes as long as you have the proper iPod cable.

Pandora works through my 900 using my Droid.

Droid - run app - headphone out > 900 front panel AV in (assign input via AVIC settings.

The fidelity is a little disappointing, but it works fine and sounds pretty good.

I found a post a few weeks ago about playing pandora wirelessly through the bluetooth using a BB storm. I haven't tried it yet and would have to google to refind the post, but from what these guys were saying, it's possible. I know you had to adjust some of the bluetooth settings and it may have even been a mod/hack

It uses no hacks or mods. It uses on BT dongle pluged into the iPod cable. Search this forum for "Bluetooth Workaround" for details b

i didn't think that the avic would do streaming since it does not feature the AD2P profile, plus i would rather use the aux cable to not lose sound quality due to the compression that BT uses.

It doesn't by itself.

I have a Droid and want to play Pandora though my 910BT.

I hooked a mini jack cable from the Droid to the front mini Aux input.

I can not get the 910BT to play from the Droid (which is playing Pandora).

Any idea what I am doing wrong?

If it matters, I have an iPod hook up for the BT and it works fine. I have no other external sources hooked to the BT.

Any help would be appreciated, as I really like Pandora.

Thanks.

did you turn aux 2 to video in the settings

did you turn aux 2 to video in the settings

I think so, but I will double check when I get home and try again.

Do I need to set Aux 1 to anything? I usually have it set to iPod, but tried it on Ext as well.

Posted Apr 21, 2010 · 18:34 UTC#24

Its not aux 1 or 2. You need to set AV2 to VIDEO and then select AV2 as your source.

I did what was said and it worked perfectly!

Thanks!!!!!
