maximise_baud=1
I heard from people that this setting might also break communication between the AVIC and GPS device because the automatic rate determination might not work sometime.
What is your thought on this?

It is important to remove in this sys.txt, the parameters that are made to my option to display adjustment and early speedcam alerts (windows and voice/beep). In my mod the option that I created for deciding to start max distance speedcam alerts between 1200m and 600m (Warn Distance) in my "Audible Warning" speedcam settings.
Misterblue, could you please tell me what do you mean by this comment? What should I adjust in Sys.txt for this point?
I use this setting for over 40 days and I've never had this kind of problem. My AVIC still works well.
What should I adjust in Sys.txt for this point?
I'd really like ABB corrects his own mistakes. He used my sys.txt by changing two or three parameters, but it'll have to ask myself what was the use most of my settings, that way it would not make any mistakes. But as they say, is by making mistakes that we learn not to do.
The improvement SmartZoom took me a really long time. It would take too long to detail all the changes I make to make this option acceptable to use. I never liked to use this option (Pioneer mod and other mod), but since I changed I use it all the time (I say this in all sincerity, not because it is me who have improved this option).ABB is expected to arrive to copy my changes, I'm pleased that I will copy my changes and to be incorporated in his mod
Abb, this is quoted from Misterblue's thread for his own mod.
Do you have any intention to implement his smartzoom logic into your V3 mod? As I really love the V3 beside the misfunctional smartzoom, I will be more than happy to test it out for you
.
Thanks.
I do not intend to copy ABB. I'm not sure I understand your request, can you make me by MP in French? thank's

Sorry that I have been away for a bit, but I am tied up at work for the next while. The reason that I have not updated mr blues 3d car to 1.1a is that I don't know what the changes are. He talks about an iPod thing that I could not figure out, so I left it. Chuck, can you please pm him to find out what the changes are? If it is worthwhile, I will implement them in an update.
Chuck88, I've done this:
The system remembers the settings that you had until the error occurred. You have to get through TestMode see the main screen. Go to settings and the 3D menu Cars to choose another car. Apply changes? Yes and the system restart with the new car. Power off your ignition to turn the AVIC off. Pop out your SD CARD TestMode and then power back on to restart AVIC. And remember not to use that car that has problems.

What do you mean by this? There is no main screen under TestMode.
It sounds that you don't really need to boot into TestMode with the SD card, but just to change the car before switching to the MAP again. Is it right?
Chuck88,
When the error occurs, the system is in "Map." The Avic restarts and tries to load "Map" and restarts again and again.
To avoid that you enter TestMode > MyFlashDisk > APL2 > iGo > Double click EZRIDER.EXE > load iGo > IGo at that time begins on any menu, look for the menu "setting" and if you can not then power off your ignition to turn the AVIC off. Pop out your SD CARD TestMode and then power back on to restart AVIC.
The AVIC load all the programs and you see the Main Menu >Settings > 3D cars menu > choose another car and apply > restart > and that is all
At least I've solved so and it works. Sorry for my English but I only speak Spanish.
Love this! ![]()
Chuck88:
You already know that Avic remember that part of the program is at shutdown. That's the problem.
If you enter in a menu with "TestMode" and turn off the system he has a new reference.

Got it.
Your new version of mod is not bad, but you've integrated my old version of MB-3DCars which is version 1.1 and not the latest version 1.1a! This latest version includes adjustments that avoid the risk of blocking its AVIC because of the possibility of file corruption (I had already mentioned in the topic dedicated).
I saw that you had copied the settings file sys.txt to my mod MB-IDT3.0-4c, but you do not set the parameter GPS allows a better reactivity of position on map? it's a shame because it works well.
By cons you've made others which are entirely specific to options that I created for my mod?!
ABB1, you do not reply to this message?! The users of your mod have perhaps not noticed they had a problem with the use of sys.txt file (contain specific settings for my mod) that you included in this version of your mod.
How do u add a location as a favorite spot?

misterblue, I just spent the last two days testing both SYS.txt files, the one that I had previously and the one with your changes. I notice no differences in GPS accuracy or reliability. Actually I noticed that a couple of times that it took 2-3 minutes to get a satellite fix where in the GPS Status screen all satellites wsere there and yellow with full bars, but no lock, and that is using your SYS.txt whereas it only takes about 30 sec using my sys.txt to get a lock. What EXACTLY is your sys.txt supposed to do? There is NO PROBLEM WITH THE SYS.TXT in my file as I have just done the testing rigorously for the last two days using both files. Has anybody had any GPS problems using my files?
misterblue, can you please respond as to what your settings in SYS.txt are supposed to do? Thank you

Go to 'Route/ Plan/ Curser/ Add to favorites'
Hey Abb1,
Just wanted to say thanks again, after a week with your new mod It's like owning a new unit. I still can't believe how customizable this unit is and can be, and absolutely love the way it looks. You, my friend...ROCK!
Scott
Thanks
Here's a potential glitch... The unit no longer goes into voice activation mode when pushing in on the volume knob. This developed after loading this mod. I would be surprised if the Data.zip. etc. would have any effect on this option as I think it is an AV function. Is it simply coincidence, or is this intentional in your mod?
This is one of the top 2 or 3 features that I use constantly to make cell phone calls. Hate to lose it! Any thoughts, or should I maybe re-load the bluetooth software?
