I am having some trouble getting it past Step 4 which is holding down all the buttons and waiting for the blue screen. RIght now my unit does turn on the fan but no lights on the buttons and the screen is black. but when i hold down the eject, menu, and map a blue screen pops up saying please press reset key again. Once i let go of a button the screen turns black again. Any help is much appreciated!

Sounds like you are holding down the reset + eject button too long. It is very touchy and takes some practice but you should follow the guide posted here.... viewtopic.php?f=34&t=25817

I can't offer any more advice other than keep trying. Once you get it, there is the definite feeling of accomplishment
