wow...it didn't even click to me that the face didn't tilt at all. That is a HUGE turn off for me as the radio sits very low and would be near impossible to get a good look at the screen in daylight in order to visibly see the screen without any glare or "distortion"

No it will not

Lets talk tech: DVD's are the source for NAV data on the D3. Any ideas whether a (Pioneer) XDV-P90 DVD Changer will pass the DVD NAV data to the unit?

This would eliminate the hassle of having to swap disc on the fly.. (w/o the use of gold/green pixie dust...)

I noticed that too and was curious if it was a typo or not. My D1 and D2 software had detailed city maps, why wouldn't the D3?

Anyone know if the detailed city map (Detailed City Map: Not Available ) means that the D3 will NOT have the nidce 3D views that the Z1 has?

D3 will use the 70 series maps, so it would have access to the data...

Are the 70 series maps as good as any other map set? What are the names of the other sets and how are they different? When you say "it will have access to the data" What data are you refering to? I am not a real techhead, but I am tech curious.... thanks....

The 70 series maps will be the most current when they come out. I assume they will have the newest POI info, mapping, lane information etc. It improves every year
