I find the basic Pioneer map colours very insipid. I therefore want to change them especially in 3d mode.

 

I have changed the various colours in 'color.ini' and '3dcolor.ini' without any great effect. Do I need to change anything else to achieve map colour changes or is it that the changes that I have made to the two ini files are not great enough?

I haven't tried to change anything yet, but I hope to change the map colors, because as it is, my color-blind eyes can barely see the calculated route on the map.

 

(I'm using v2 firmware, so someone please tell me if v3 or v4 is any better in that regard.)

 

Meanwhile, why doesn't this forum allow me to search for "color"?
