I need to find the simpilest location for VSS, Back Up Light, and Parking brake. I understand the VSS is located in the Radio cavity as a gray black wire but there are two locations with the same color wire. What pin number is it? The reverse lights must be in the kick panel but I have not located them there and have to pull wire to the light fixture.
Can any body help me with reliable information?

grab the metra or scosche wiring harness for your truck. one of those gray/black wires is going to match up with a speaker lead in the metra/scosche harness. The other one will not. That one is your vss. Of course you could grab a meter and test it too. As for reverse it's black/pink an 8 pin harness next to the parking brake assembly.
Now I'm sure there's more than a few people that can chime in here as far as the install in that vehicle goes. There have been by my count no less than a dozen people asking the same questions. Easy truck, have fun.
