I'm dropping my Jeep off for install on Friday....I asked for a few custom things, and they told me for HU, Bluetooth, Sat w/Nav, Ipod, and camera, it would max out at $300...could be less....the installer made me feel confident in his knowlege, and experience. Oh, and he'll do the bypass for me.

It would kinda suck if there was no difference between the two units. No difference except a $50 mark up.

Any update on the BTB200? I'm still waiting on mine from Crutchfield, with fingers crossed that Verizon compatibility is improved.

The CD-BTB200 is the same hardware as the CD-BTB100, so there will not be any change to phone compatibility. What has changed is the mic gain is lowered, to reduce echo, and the auto-connect feature will work with Motorola phones. That's it.

Got my BTB200 today. Will try and swap out the 100 tomorrow and test it out

whtcrxhst, did you get the btb 200 installed yet? How is working for you?

I think I'm going to cancel my order if I have to manually connect my verizon chocolate everytime..I'll just use my 40 bucks Motorola BT headset (that autoconnects)

Ya, finally got to it today. I only had one person that consistently complained of echo and they say the echo is gone now. It autoconnects with both my motorolas perfectly (Razr and L6.) I still couldn't figure out how to get the whole phonebook to transfer on the Razr so I had to do it one by one. No big deal. Haven't tried on the L6 yet. Overall, I am very happy. My biggest complaint was the autoconnect and thats solved

If you don't mind me asking, where's your information coming from? I've heard several different 'theories' throughout this thread.

Also, you say the auto-connect feature will work with Motorola phones... that sounds to me like a change to phone compatibility...

That is badass that Moto phones can autoconnect now... It was such a bia to manually connect everytime, but this def. makes it worth the cash.

Actually Pioneer tech representative says that there is a whole different chipset and firmware in this version, which is a hardware and sotware change.

It also added more profiles for streaming audio, not that I have any use for it

Now since most of you have it installed what do you think?

I just ordered a D3, Bluetooth, Ipod cable, and xm Nav.

I am really curious what everyone thinks about the new CD-BTB200 compared to the old or even if you have had experience with Auto bluetooths before.

I have a parrot installed in my SUV now and the call quality is pretty good.

This is all a complete new install in a new vehicle and since I went with the D3 I thought I would keep everthing the same.

What do you think about the new models call quality??

Where can i pick up the 200 bluetooth module? my local CC doesnt have it and there only two on ebay to be had... and CF is on backorder

help!

Posted Apr 16, 2007 · 13:55 UTC#43

You'll have to order it. You could also check Froogle but some of those sellers aren't that great (use the ratings).

I love mine. Can't beat the auto-connect and how it mutes the music when a call comes in. :)

Posted Apr 16, 2007 · 13:58 UTC#44

i guess ill have to bite the bullet... any coupons or codes for CF?

Posted Apr 16, 2007 · 15:27 UTC#45

You can try my code below. :)

Posted Apr 16, 2007 · 17:35 UTC#46

all ordered... just waiting on the backorder... i couldnt use the coupon for some reason, but i made note of it in my addtl comments on the order (not like it will make any diff)

i wonder how long it will take for CF to get another batch in

Call quality is excellent, both ways, i havnt had any complaints of echos like the previous units have had, and it auto connects to my razr which my previous unit did not. Im very please with mine.

Thanks for the feedback. Not sure if I really have a choice since it's already on it's way.

Sometimes these kind of units are really hit or miss. Glad to know I will be able to use this to do business on the road. :D
