So i grounded my PB wire, everything seems to work. but everytime i turn off my battery, and turn it bak up, it gives me that PB screen again. and i would need to re-attach the wire again in order it to work again. whats happen!!
Bypassed, but still doesnt work?
Make sure the wire is grounded good. If the metal is painted, then you need to sand it off. You want a good metal to metal contact
you haven't done the bypass right then.
what screen is it giving you? the one about the navigation that you have to hit i accept or whatever? or one saying something about the parking brake connection? will it even show video from a dvd once you get past 15mph?
I remember something about the Mute wire it should be moved, done that?
i cant believe people are still asking this question
Yeah me too. Specially since I post in probably half of the threads on the board. I guess, not only do we have selective hearing we have selective reading too.

maybe you should Cap those click HERE links. I think that will get their attention.
or maybe just stop answering questions that have already been done to death
that usually doesnt help, because they will keep bumping their own thread til someone answers.
^^^^ Pretty much. I love those. Especially bumping a question that's 3 hours old... btw Misfit here ya go.
huh?
Here's are capitalized...
no, i got gotten the tabs that connect the 2 wires together. works fine untill i turn off battary
ok, didnt see that.
how exactly do you turn off your battery?

I think I asked for that. Misfit asked for not responding anymore.
as in turning off the car. and bak on.
1. Be sure your parking brake wire and mute wire is grounded to the chassis.
2. Be sure you moved the mute PIN up a slot on the connector
If those are good and you know it, then you may want to take note of what else is tapped into that same ground wire. If you are sharing it, try moving something off and grounding it separately.
I'm willing to bet you have something that isn't grounding properly...
