I was going to post a review of the install cntrylvr79 did with my N3 into my new 2004 Ford Expedition, but when i arrived in Jersey, I was greeted by him and two of his friends who proceeded to talk like they were from the Bronx, and took my stuff! Here's a pic:

All kidding aside, cntrylvr79 is the friggin man. Not only is he a nice guy, he knows his shit too.

Anyways, before he yells at me, just a few before/during/after install pics :) I dont really have many pics cause it was fucking 95 degrees outside, but he installed the XM tuner under the center console inbetween the front seats, and the N3 brain he found a perfect sized cubbyhole BEHIND the gauge cluster on the dash! out of site out of mind :)

Hey I have an excuse. I'm tired of studying. I can only read so much about odb-II, can, lan and most systems.....

Posted Jun 10, 2007 · 02:21 UTC#12

Posted Jun 10, 2007 · 03:41 UTC#14

Very cool. Did you go looking for tuxes yet? The next eight months are going to FLY by. We got engaged two years before the wedding and it went by so fast!

Posted Jun 10, 2007 · 03:46 UTC#15

Screw that, I'll get my tux like a week before. If I wear one that is.

What happened with our NY/NJ meet?? Hey cntry, if you still don't mind me coming down sometime during the week of Aug 6th, maybe I can pick up MisFit in my big azz truck

Posted Jul 25, 2007 · 02:04 UTC#20

Not a problem at all. I should be off either the 9th or 10th.

Posted Jul 27, 2007 · 01:57 UTC#21

hey, i have a question. After ya'll did the install on the gps, did you have to manually pinpoint the location of where ya'll were at on the gps? or did it automatically just detect where you were at? because i have a problem on my unit where everytime you disconnect the unit, it would reset to a default location in california LA i think. I'm not sure why it does that.

Posted Jul 27, 2007 · 01:59 UTC#22

Pioneer USA is located in California :) maybe it defaults to its home base?

Posted Jul 27, 2007 · 04:24 UTC#23

THat's just what it does. I wouldn't be surprised if like Paisan said it defaults to Pioneer USA's location. Once it gets a GPS lock it'll locate itself properly on the map. Generally takes between 1 and 3 minutes for the lock.
