Well I did on my Z1... i dont know if it applies to Z2 as well. I love my unit more than ever now.

Is this latest update for the Gracenote, for the Z1 or the Z2?

It is for both.

I did the Gracenote update and now my 2 wire bypass is not working on my Z1, I also get the parking brake error at startup and does not go away with soft reset?

 

Anyone else have this problem?

Anyone else with this problem??? If it does screw up the bypass can you get back to stock?

Wow, I've been out of this forum for awhile and I found that is a good thing to update the Z1 but also may or may not mess up the bypass. I have the 2 wire ground in a June 2006 model. If I apply this update will it mess it up? what will be a good way to do it?

The bluetooth update changes the bypass to the 2 wire style. If you already have this bypass it will not affect your unit.

Can someone explain to me how to download this to a disc,i have problem trying to make it work.

Does this update affect the flasher bypass? In other words, if I update the gracenote, do I have to change my bypass from flasher to 2 wire ground

I just applied the GN update to my Z2. The car is at the dealer, but when i get it back i will check and see if the two wire bypass will work.

I am doubtful that it will work, but i will keep my fingers crossed.

Edit: Doesn't work. I will keep waiting.

It was a joke. The GN update does not allow the Z2 to use the 2-wire bypass.
