Hey guys , I have an avic-n3 in my wife's tahoe and now want to put a Z-1 in my truck. But crutchfield and circuit city says it won't fit in my 03 Silverado. Are they on crack?? Why wouldn't it fit?? Isn't the 03 Silverado a regular double din setup??

Hey antonm...you might want to check out the thread that I started afew weeks back. I had the z1 installed in my 03 tahoe. Let me know if you have any questions. i have an 04 silverado. i woudl think our dash is the same. from everything i have found in research the opening is fine the problem is that there are some plastic pieces behind the stereo location that have to be removed.. ie broken off. but i have lots of pictures of this unit in a silverado with no dash modslemme know if your interested in seeing them.
