new here...

Is this safe? Does it work? I don't want to "try it" and brick my device...

Posted Jun 28, 2016 · 18:59 UTC#3

It's safe if you following instructions carefully, you can always delete one file to restore your device to original state. But only navigation-related OK screen will be removed. Smartphone warning OK screen will not be removed by this patch.

You can try. It's safe to use, so you can check. But only for navi-related OK screen.

I'm having trouble unpacking this on OS X 10.9.5. Any advice?

Posted Jun 29, 2016 · 01:47 UTC#8

Try unpacking on a Windows unit

Posted Jun 29, 2016 · 05:48 UTC#9

It was a problem to unzip on Win, on Android is OK.

Just try to unpack using latest available rar/unrar/winrar utility. I think we can ask asd255 to upload .zip instead of .rar

Thanks for uploading the .zip file! It seems to be password protected though?

Anyone able to get this to work on an 8200?

Posted Jun 29, 2016 · 19:34 UTC#19

Trying to do this to my 8100, get to the spot below where is writes the script, but it never reboots the unit. To move out of this, I have to hit enter (home) which resets the whole thing and the "ok" screen is back.

How long should it take for this to reboot itself?
