I know that you guys are experts in info about Avic soif you can please help me with an issue I am fighting for months to resolve.

I have an AVIC MRZ05 installed on my Mazda which was imported from Japan. Although the car was manufactured at the end of 2013, it was armed with the MRZ05 which I understand is older.

I managed to change the Japanese language with the help of Dzo here in this forum and solved that first problem.

Now what I need is your help on how to install either maps for Cyprus on the existing factory navigation system OR install another system such as IGO for which maps are easier to find.

I have downloaded a few files but i have no idea on how to proceed so starting from an empty 8GB sd card and basic knowledge on how to enter the testmode I will appreciate all your help.

Please guys! I need Cyprus maps for my MRZ 05 or a way to install IGO or any other nav system so that I can work!

I am a taxi driver....

Are there any files that I can use REPLACING the files I have on y MRZ 05 so that the GPS can be usable? Can anybody help???

hi i have the same problem i bought an imported car from japan with an mrz05 and i need to firstly change language to english. Can you please guide me to what you did to achieve that please. thanks 

That was easy thanks to Djo. All you have to do is get the language files which have been kindly translated by Djo and replace them into your MRZ05 and the language will change. Follow this and read carefully. www.avic411.com/index.php?/topic/39638-avic-mrz99-custom-firmware-testmode/page-1.

it is finally.....impossible my friend. i installed maps.me application on my android phone and got myself sorted for free

my mrz05 isn't starting up , the raku navi display shows up but nothing happens. Black screen appear and it restarts .can some one help ?

DID YOU DELETE NAVI EXE FILE?

The "paste" option is greyed out and cannot be selected. 

Can you please advise ?

When you copy the files does the "+" sign appears left to the file name? You can also make a small video of what you do so that others can help you.

Yes Javed, I got the + signs and it says it copied but then when I go into the other menu to paste, the paste does not work. 

I will make a video this weekend, great idea.

after you press copy dont touch the (navi button) press left arrow to highlight enter and then go up (Volume button) till you get to a (...) in top subfolder then press (menu button) and again till you get to user, then prg and apl. then move down at least once (volume button) and you should be able to highlight past with (arow left or right button). but make sure to don't press (navi button)!!! hope will work for you

Thanks so much for this advice and am so desperate to sort this out ... I have tried to follow but still its doesn't seem to work.

I've taken a video maybe you can see where I am going wrong ?

Hi guys, Im new to this forum. I'm sure you are sick and tired of answering this question but here goes. I recently purchased a Japanese import. Honda Insight 2012. the sat nave display is a Pioneer Avic-mrzo5. How do I convert the Language to English. Any help is really appreciated. Thank you
