I come with the new firmware no longer in the Test mode menu ?!

I have a F88DAB/NEX8200 with new Firmware 1.07

Is there a solution for this?

atm no. Think Pioneer have done something with the new firmware regarding testmode. Stick with the "old" one until someone else can confirm this.

I'm a little confused... I don't plan on upgrading right away, but are any of these for the AVIC-8000NEX?

For the x200, the latest version on the Pioneer site is 1.04.  How is it 1.06 here?

Can someone confirm that the Crack Hack Patch is working with the new vesion 1.15?

atm you cant enter testmode to apply the patch with this update. so stick with 1.14

testmode(key) is needed if you are gonna update/copy maps to your unit. If you bought the maps, then no worry. Use naviextras. But if you downloaded them, you need the testmode-key to copy maps and patch the navsoftware.

Newly signed up to the forum   - I've just purchased a used f960bt (nex 6000) from ebay, all installed and working fine.... BUT the previous owner very kindly (in their mind anyway) decided to update to the latest 1.15 firmware before shipping it to me... so now none of the test keys work, and I cant run any of the stuff I intended to (like nav warning disable, patched nav maps).

Am I completely out of luck? Or is anyone planning on getting testmode working again?

atm you just have to have alot of patience btw i think you can downgrade the unit to an older version, then the patch/crack will work.

You sir are a genius - I'd assumed it couldnt be rolled back (Pioneer website says you cannot) - downloaded the 1.14 from the link on this forum, fired it up on the headunit - got a warning it was older than current did I wish to continue, then simply said yes and installed 1.14 over the top! Had to do the bluetooth rollback too, but now working fine - testmode works perfectly, and I've patched out the annoying nav warning 'OK' screen 

You can get a complete System Dump from a previous version of the NEX 6000 to downgrade the Device.

Is the 8200NEX different than the AVH-X800BT?  I'm just confused as to why this is firmware version 1.06 but the Pioneer web site only has version 1.04 for the x200 series.  Thanks for any help educating me.

asd255 was so kind to share some Golden apples & eggs with us. The content he provided contained some different versions of testkeys. The one we need (i thnk) is the tech one, so this is the one im sharing.

Use the goldenapple.tst key with your preffered patch

Also interested. Just downloaded frokm web and it says 1.05 is newest ver

Replace the "old" tesmode_a.key with the goldenapple.tst

Dont replace or rename the file.

Just copy goldenapple.tst and then you can enter to Testmode.

Can confirm that v1.15 and Testmode is working.

only works on the x000 platform (incl. 5000-8000NEX/F960BT/F60DAB, AVIC-F960BT / AVH-X8600BT / SPH-DA120). Not on the x100!

• Unpack downloaded file(s) into FAT32-formatted USB stick, insert stick into USB1 (USB2 isn't working).
• Your device will reboot into testmode.
• Select Write program forcedly => Copy Script, script will patch your system and reboot. 
• Remove USB stick after script finishes.
