Alright I need everyones help on this one. I have a Pioneer Z2 with the XM Trafiic Nav Tuner. My question is where is the best spot to mount the XM antenna and the GPS antenna.

I was thinking on placing the GPS antenna under the grill on the front dash board. As for the XM antenna I have no immediate ideas. My understanding is that the placment of the GPS antenna is not a critical as the XM antenna due to the number of satellites for GPS, whereas the XM only has a few.

This is my project for today and I could really use some guidance.

I would put the XM antenna on the roof. I have my GPS antenna on the dash. Make sure and mount it on something metal like the little pad they give you
