cant bypass my parking brake

Huh? Connect the wire that is marked parking brake from the d3 to a ground. Don't touch your vehicles parking brake wire.

yes, all work can be done on the harness on the back of the D3 - not the Lincoln - by either tapping or soldering the appropriate wires....
