I have XM and Sirius in my car, only cause I got the XM tuner and service free.

And yes, its always usually on Sirius.

So is it true that with the Sirius you never see the name of the song and artist?

No, but you can only see one at a time. If its displaying the song, hit display on the screen and it switches to artist

In that case I am a little confused as to why the picture above has no display of either at the time it was taken.

I am a current Sirius subscriber and looking to install a D3 just wanted to figure out what I am getting into. To me its a major feature, and I dont really want to have to switch to xm.

Where is says Sirius Hits 1 changes with the DISP button. Station, Song Name, Artist Name, Genre, etc.

I live in Montgomery County, MD as well. And If you're taking 270 or 495 during rush hour, no amount of NavTraffic info is gonna help you... Because once you enter hell there is no escape.

haha no joke. I live in Frederick, md I take that route often times so yeah, I hear you.

The nav unit might be nice so you can take some side roads when there is a bad accident on 270 or 495.

I have the XM unit. It's amazing how easy it is. It has station logo's, presets and everything. i also really like the lineup. xm 20 on 20, xm hitlist and 82 the system are my favorites.

I also really like the list feature, lays out all the stations with graphics by them, so you can browse them essentially, all in color. Imagine that, amazing technology.

I have the PNR1 tuner.

Thanks. I also have the PNR1 tuner - wanted to see if there was any "real" difference between the two...

The PNR2 adds favorite song memory and sportsticker. Thats it

Thanks for the info. Guess I'm not upgrading to that then.
