anyone do bypass on new 2007 avic d3 with gyro

Who told you that? As far as everyone here is concerned, there is no new model. Or it would have been mentioned already. Fairly positive a D3 is a D3, up until the D4 comes out.

do better than that i thought it sounded like bs loooked here and did not see anything about it nd my buddys mod worked flawlessly. looks like i won't buy it from him thanks for the replies can;t wait to get my d3

If he was a salesman, he was most likely trying to sucker you into either buying a more expensive unit from him. If he was an installer he was probably trying to con you into letting him perform an "alternate bypass" on these newer units that don't actually exist.
