I searched the forum for "Ferris Wheel" before I asked this question.

I just upgraded my Z1 to a Z2. As I was driving through town with the map set to 3D dual view, I all of a sudden saw this HUGE ferris wheel icon on my map that had never been there before.

It was 3-5 time larger that any map icon I have ever seen before and was animated. I had to find out what it represented and when I got to the spot, it was an indoor go-cart track.

I have never seen one of these huge icons before (I drive near that site every day). I do not have the map set up to display any POI except my bank, gas station and Starbucks.

Can someone explain this monstor icon? (see photo)

that is cool as hell!!!!!!!!!!!!! to bad no one has ever seen it or will ever see it again! i wonder if thers any other icons that are cool! like a dancing lady for a strip club, that would be gangster

There is a go cart rack right by my house, so I will drive by it and see if it does the same. Also there is an amusement park newar me also so I will cruise by both.

I've been a member for a total of a couple of months....learned alot...and got me passed the install with ease....

One of the upgrades from the Z1 to Z2 are these 3D icons. I have never seen the ferris wheel, but I have seen a zoo one and a stadium one

Hides the 3D Landmark on the map.

I have that on my screen as well, problem is, its no where near an A. Park. Never was................its just a random icon on my map.

Ther are lots of NAZI's in Japan

Sory I had to say it... nice catch though... but if they were turned around they would be swastikas but they are not.

It is a japanese symbol, I cannot remember for what though. Man I'm getting old...

The reverse swastikas are a common symbol for temples.

It is also the symbol on the back of the character from the Manga "Blade of the Immortal".

Wow funny stuff. Those icons are kinda cool but I see where they could get annoying at times.

And here is another question why do Japanese electronics have English writing on it, like the "P. List" button? But then in other places, like on the maps, they are using the symbols.

I get the Ferris Wheel everytime I drive past my mall.

When I go to the CheLtenham mall in Philadelophia PA there is a HUGE FOOTBALL STADIUM in the middle of the parking lot. Now I am 27 years old AND LIVed hear all my life. I never seen one now I dont no if maybe 30 - 50 years ago there was. but there is nothing there but a mall, and wendys.
