So it should work, i'll get the psp cigarette charger.

remember it has to be an original OEM SONY ciagrette PSP adapter, not one of the aftermarket off-brand names.

i think i know why you said only oem, because those aftermarket only supply 500mah and we need 2000mah.

OEM cost $30, that is way too much.

see i think the 2000mah are needed upon start up for the hard drive to spin

but my friend said that the xm adpater i used which puts out 6v/1000mah is good because it makes up in volts.

If you have alt or fuel pump noise you may want to install an RF choke to illiminate this noise.

Ford vehicles where notorious for engine noise and fuel pump noise comming through aftermarket stereo systems.
